What’s On

Whats On

* For those children who have booked places on the buses travelling to the Armadillo for the morning rehearsal we will be leaving from Inchinnan Parish Church. Please by there for 8.15am and buses will leave at 8.30am.

* Those children who are travelling to the rehearsal themselves please arrive at the venue no later than 8.55am and sign in at the backstage door.

* the morning rehearsal will start at 9am and as each age group finishes rehearsing their dances they will be bused back in shuttle runs to the Inchinnan Parish Church in order of age. Starlites will return first followed by P1-3, P4-7 and finally senior girls.

* All parents will receive a text message when the buses leave the armadillo to give you 20 minutes notice to collect your child at the Inchinnan Parish Church and we will also post on Facebook when each bus leaves. Children are supervised on all buses and if you are not there to collect your child we will call you and wait with the child until someone collects them, however when people are late it has a knock on effect to the whole day and will make the shuttle runs late so please be on time to collect your child.

* For the evening show all dancers should be dropped off and signed in at 5.30pm at the backstage door where they will be shown to their dressing rooms and helpers. There is no evening transport in place and everyone should make their own way to the armadillo.

* All dancers have been asked to only bring ONE bag per child. If this is a suitcase or hold-all that is no problem but please don’t bring multiple bags and lunch boxes etc as the venue have asked for everything to be condensed to ONE bag per child.

* All tiny tots dancers are asked to come wearing their ballet tights with shimmer tights on top, this is to save time and help the backstage helpers get the kids ready quicker.

* The venue doors will open at 5.30pm for audience members. Please note this year there will be a bag search on the front door for security reasons and you should allow a little more time for this. Anyone who has a bag over A3 size that is deemed unnecessary will be asked to put this in the cloakroom at the secc. Please note parents with baby changing bags will be allowed to bring these inside the venue.

* No one will get into the foyer without a ticket and if you have to collect your tickets please note you will collect them from the box office of the main building inside the secc.

* There are other events on site at the same time as ours including the tartan gig for girl guides in the hydro starting at 5.30pm and the pink ribbon walk which is a charity walk around Glasgow. We have been advised that most participants involved in these events arrive by coach and that it shouldn’t cause too much of a problem however we would like you to keep this in mind for your arrival time and car parking.

* NUT ALLERGIES please ensure that no dancer brings any food or snack back stage that may have nuts or traces of nuts as we have a number of allergies.

* After the show finishes and the curtain closes we ask that ONE parent per child remain in their seats within the auditorium. The children will be signed out from the main stage and passed over to parents by Infusion staff who will be calling you forward using a microphone to collect your child. This is the safest and fastest way to get all children home. Please note the children will be signed out in order of age groups tiny tots, Starlites, p1-3, p4-7 and s1-s6. This is important as the youngest children are very tired by the end and it is a priority to get them home first. Please have patience during this time as we do our utmost to get everyone out of the building safely. We will not guarantee any finish time as things can run on so please be prepared to wait if needs be and be rest assured things will move as quickly and efficiently as possible with your co operation.
